The first stanza deals with the emotions of the mother in which a mother is explaining about the things that she would never be able to do since she does not have children. The women is presenting with motherly activities that she is longing to perform but would never be able to do that. She is clearly presenting that she would not be able to nurture children due to the abortion which includes looking after them, feeding them and being with the m alone the time.
